We have spent the last week at Cecina, in Tuscany, on the coast about 150 km north of Rome. The campsite is 300 metres from the sea, which is approached through an old pine wood.
The beach at Cecina.
Harbour at Cecina.
Bike ride to Bibbona, through the ‘avenue of cypresses’.
En route to Bibbona.
The fellow travellers.
Olive groves en route to Bibbona.
Look out at Cecina Mare. (Topman Sailor).
The venue for drinks on the way back.
That site looks like a real gem, perfect for relaxing in the sun. What next, I wonder? Ebikes are a lot of fun, by the way!
Pleased you are enjoying Ebikes, we find our bikes invaluable when motor homing (PJ would like it to be made clear that he is powered purely by the Jennings legs), either way, a great way to get about and see everything.
Betsy, my bike, has increased my range and I can now almost keep up with that famous Tour de France veteran ‘Lightning Legs Jennings’ and pull two fat Border Terriers.
