Don’t trust your sat nav! This was our suggested route to the camping at Cala d’Orques. We would have got through, but without wing mirrors.

We stopped overnight near Tarragona at a campsite called Cala d’Oques, or the Creek of the Geese. Which explained the two geese in a pen by reception. Once we had put the name through google translate.

On the Beach.
Tomorrow we head off to another old favourite, Camping Marjal at Creveillente.
Looks like a good time. Greetings from wet, windy Yorkshire.xx
😂😂. It was pretty windy here as well yesterday, on the autopista but calmer now.
Hi Remember us Pat and Steve Mar menor 2016 BOOM We are now living at La Manga Caravaaning. Are you at Marjal for long we.could meet for coffee perhaps. Oh and i left my hat in your van
That hat 😂😂😂😂. We carried it around for years 😂😂😂. Sadly I don’t know where it is now. But it would be great to meet up again. Does la manga have sites for itinerants like us ? Could we stop Saturday night? Otherwise we could stop at Los alcazeres, where we met? What works for you?
Either would be good im sure la manga has places or mar menor leet us know
Really sorry but plans have changed, need to be well south soon, and it will be tricky to meet up now, , we will catch up with you next time we are here 😀.
Edward Spooner would have loved the “creek of the geese”. Gorgeous pictures. It’s good to know there is still sea, sun and sand somewhere. We are expecting another two storms before the weekend. I do wish they wouldn’t keep giving them silly names, it really doesn’t make me feel any more kindly disposed to dreadful weather, Have fun, Jim

Hi Jim, great to hear from you. Yes we are fighting through the Sun and wine here in southern Spain. It is so hard. Maybe you can get down to see us this year sometime? We hope so.
All our love, Peter and Nia. Xx
