We are about to set off on another of our jaunts in Mavis the motorhome. This time we’re going to head south through eastern France in search of some sun.

Hello Both, I am following your progress from my desk at school and getting very itchy feet. Either I’ve caught something from one of my classes, or I am ready to retire.
It’s your birthday today Peter, – the ides of March. Happy birthday! According to Wikipedia, this is a festive day, dedicated to the god Mars. I hope you are celebrating appropriately. Mars was the Roman god of war, so you should probably celebrate by throwing a few thunderbolts around.
The school bell has just rung for the end of lunch, and a class is gathering outside my door. Pass me some of those thunderbolts.
